    The Scorpius XRT-450 is the world’s first optically excited miniature X-ray source, eliminating the fragile heated filament and replacing it with advanced optical excitation. This breakthrough design dramatically extends operating life, improves spot stability, and reduces heat generation.

    With a compact form factor and <100 μm near-Gaussian spot size, Scorpius delivers highly consistent flux, improved sample excitation and superior performance for both handheld and benchtop XRF systems. Its gas-insulated high voltage section allows depot-level servicing, reducing waste and lifetime cost.

    For seamless system integration, Scorpius combines power and digital control through a single cable, with built-in USB-C and Molex interfaces standard on every unit.
