Amptek introduces Graphite Windows as a replacement to beryllium (Be) windows in the XR-100-CdTe and X-123-CdTe X-Ray and Gamma Ray detectors. The Graphite Windows are made of 100% carbon and 25 µm thick. They are equivalent in Energy Transmission to 4 mil (100 um) Be windows.
