Job Description

Perform initial and final assembly of x-ray and gamma ray detectors and their corresponding electronics. Calibrate these systems using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, pulse generators and multichannel analyzers. Repair and upgrade detectors from the field. Order parts, keep track of inventory and perform general electronics laboratory work.

Qualifications

• Electronics technician degree with a minimum of 3 years experience
• Test equipment skills including multimeters, analyzers and oscilloscopes
• Experience in troubleshooting electronic equipment
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Machine shop skills are a plus
• Organizational skills, flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment
• US resident

Positions available

• Senior technician: 5 to 10 years experience
• Junior technician: 2 to 5 years experience
